Frequently Asked Questions
Division Orders confirm your ownership interest in a well. They ensure you receive accurate revenue payments. If the DO is required to be signed and returned before they receive payment. If you agree that your interest is correctly shown on the Division Order, please sign your name as it is reflected on the properties’ title records. Upon receipt, PBEX will place you in Pay Status.

- Please mail or email an executed and recorded copy (recorded in the county where the property is located) to our Owner Relations team at askland@pakenergy.com or PBEX, LLC 6608 N. Western Ave., #607 Oklahoma City, OK 73116. For faster processing, please provide a W-9 of the new owner. If you have questions that require a live person, you can reach our Owner Relations team at (888) 780-0574 during business hours of 8am – 5pm CST; Friday, 8am – 4pm CST or leave a voicemail. You can expect phone calls to be answered or returned within 24 business hours and transfers to be processed 30 days of receipt of our office.
If the owner died Testate (with a Will), please provide the following to Owner Relations:
- Death Certificate
- Certified copy of the Will/Order admitting the Will to probate, recorded in the county records where the property is located. If the Will is not probated in the state where the property is located, then please submit a certified copy of the Will/Order admitting the Will to Ancillary probate
- Letters Testamentary or Administration, recorded in the county records where the property is located
- Evidence stating all taxes have been paid related to the estate (what specific documents are acceptable here)
- Copy of trust documents if one was created through the Will
- Information for heirs/new owner(s) including W-9, phone number, and email address – Change of Owner form
If the owner died Intestate (without a Will), please provide the following to Owner Relations:
- Death Certificate
- Evidence of all debts and taxes being paid (what specific documents are acceptable here)
- Affidavit of Heirship recorded in the county where the properties are located here
- Information for heirs/new owner(s) including W-9, phone number, and email address – Change of Owner form
Submit an Address Change Request form, available in our Important Forms section.
What is the minimum threshold? State it here as well as how often checks are written. Revenue checks are issued on a monthly basis when the amount exceeds $100. If you did not receive a check this month because it did not meet the minimum threshold, your amount will accumulate until the minimum is met. Calls are initially answered by a custom greeting letting owners know who they have called and to have their information (name, owner number, etc. available) and then it rolls to a live person. In the event of heavy phone traffic, if the callers are on hold over 1 minute an automated option is available to leave a Voice Mail or continue to hold for an agent.
Our hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am – 5pm CST; Friday, 8am – 4pm CST.
Currently our response time is under 24 business hours. During high volume times, we maintain a maximum 48-hour response time.
Prepare a Memorandum of Trust and a conveyance document from the current owner of record into the Trust. Record the documents in the county where the minerals are located. Send a copy of those documents as well as a new W9 for the Trust. If a Trustee name needs to be updated, provide the portion of the Trust document that determines the Successor Trustee as well as the duties and powers of the Trustee and circumstances leading to the replacement of the Trustee.
