Andrew Rowe was appointed PBEX’s Chief Financial Officer in March 2025. He brings over 12 years of experience in the energy industry and has an extensive background in corporate finance, treasury, business development, M&A and risk management. Prior to joining PBEX, Andrew served as Vice President & Treasurer at Maverick Natural Resources. He has also held a variety of positions at Sandridge Energy, Access Midstream Partners and Goldman Sachs. Andrew holds an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA, both from the University of Oklahoma. Andrew resides in Midland with his wife and two sons.
Amy is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with 28 years of experience in the oil and gas industry all while residing in Midland, Texas. Before joining PBEX as the Chief Accounting Officer in 2025, Amy held various Finance and Accounting roles at ConocoPhillips. Prior to ConocoPhillips, Amy served in a variety of roles during her 18 years with Concho Resources, Inc., including Controller as well as the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting. Prior to Concho, Amy worked at KPMG as an Assurance Manager in the Oil & Gas sector. Amy possesses a B.B.A. in Accounting, a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Mathematics from Abilene Christian University. Amy is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. Amy currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Midland Memorial Hospital, as well as on the board of Opportunity Tribe. She lives in Midland with her husband, Hayes, and daughter, Hannah, who is a senior at Midland Christian High School and will be attending Abilene Christian University in the fall.
Zachary Brandl brings 18+years of legal experience with him, the last 12 of which have focused almost exclusively on oil as gas related matters. Prior to joining PBEX, he was a Shareholder at Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson, P.C., where he was a member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Corporate/Transactional Section before spending the last five years serving as Senior Counsel at Endeavor Energy Resources, L.P. where, among other things, he oversaw Endeavor's acquisitions, trades, and HSE compliance. Zac earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his J.D. from Texas Tech University. Zac is licensed to practice law in Texas, New Mexico and Nebraska. Zac resides in Midland with his wife and two daughters.
Gaines Myer is the Director of Production and Infrastructure at PBEX, LLC. He brings over a decade of experience in production, completions, facilities, and power infrastructure across the Permian Basin. He has a proven track record of optimizing operations, leading high-performing teams, and executing large-scale projects that drive efficiency and growth.
Prior to PBEX, Gaines held key leadership roles at Diamondback Energy and Endeavor Energy Resources, where he managed multi-million-dollar infrastructure and facility developments, streamlined production strategies, and enhanced operational performance. His career began at Halliburton, specializing in production enhancement and completions.
Gaines holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Texas Christian University. He is committed to mentorship, safety, and operational excellence.
Ashley Roush is the Director of Land at PBEX, bringing over 11 years of industry experience. Before joining PBEX, she worked for Concho and ConocoPhillips, serving as both an Individual Contributor and Supervisor. Ashley is an active member of the AAPL, NMOGA, and PBLA. She holds an Energy Commerce degree from Texas Tech University. Ashley currently resides in Midland, TX, with her dog and cat and has a passion for travel.
Bryce Oman is the Vice President of Operations for PBEX, LLC. He brings over 19 years of industry experience to his role. He has experience across multiple basins in addition to leading his former team in successfully drilling SM’s longest lateral to date at 4 miles. Bryce has been in the top quartile safety performance for TXPC industry peers the last 5 years. Bryce is a graduate from Texas Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He lives in Midland with his wife, Lindsay and their two children. They are active in the community, love playing tennis and enjoy watching their children play soccer and softball.
Murray Dighans, Vice President of Subsurface at PBEX, brings over 14 years of experience across multiple U.S. basins. He began as a contractor for SM Energy through Sunburst Consulting in the Williston Basin, later joining SM Energy full-time. There, he progressed from technical roles to Geology Supervisor-Operations.
At Endeavor Energy Resources in Midland, Texas, Murray held leadership roles, including Operations Geology Manager, Geology Manager, and SWD Asset Manager.
He holds a B.S. in Geology from Rocky Mountain College, an M.S. in Geology from the University of Texas Permian Basin, and an M.Eng. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Murray resides in Midland, Texas, with his wife and two sons. They enjoy family time, restoring classic cars, and riding ATVs.
Joseph Jones is the Vice President of Planning and Reserves for PBEX, bringing over 11 years of experience to his role. Joseph has served various reservoir engineering, asset development, and reserves reporting roles at Permian Resources, Colgate Energy, ConocoPhillips, and Concho Resources. He has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Joseph, his wife and their three children live in Midland, Texas.
Shane Kwapis brings over 13 years of extensive leadership experience in operational and subsurface roles within the energy sector. He began his career at BreitBurn Energy, where he advanced through various operational and reservoir engineering positions across the Lower 48, demonstrating a strong aptitude for enhancing efficiency and driving value. Following his tenure at BreitBurn Energy, Shane held leadership positions as Director of Production Engineering and Director of Subsurface at Maverick Natural Resources in Houston, TX, before assuming the role of Vice President of Asset Development.
Shane earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Hope College in Holland, MI.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Shane resides in Midland, TX, with his wife Chessie. They enjoy exploring the outdoors in Wyoming and spending cherished moments with family and friends.
Mark Cody is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in the energy industry. Before joining PBEX, Mark honed his expertise at ConocoPhillips, SM Energy, and Endeavor, where he held various roles in land and business development across multiple basins. His experience spans both individual contributor and management positions. Mark is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) and an active member of AAPL, NMOGA, and PBLA. He earned his degree in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma. Mark currently resides in Midland with his wife and three children.
Brooks Perry is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in acquisitions and development. As a partner at PBEX, LLC and managing member of four entities in Oklahoma, Brooks plays a key role in driving business growth and strategic decision-making.
From 2008 to 2012, he served as the lead buyer for Master Mineral Holdings I and II, overseeing negotiations and the acquisition of approximately 20,000 acres in the Appalachian Basin. His expertise in deal-making and land acquisition has been integral to his career success.
Currently, Brooks focuses on acquisitions and divestitures (A&D) in the Permian Basin, where he manages complex negotiations and transactions.
Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. Since then, he has been actively involved in the oil and gas sectors across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, specializing in mineral and land acquisitions, as well as business development. His diverse experience across multiple states and basins makes him a valuable asset to the industry.
Tom is a partner in PBEX, LLC and the COO of Master Mineral Holdings, LP, a mineral acquisition company with a focus on the Appalachian Basin from 2009 to present. He has also served as Managing Member of affiliate limited partnerships, acquiring mineral interests and non-operated working interests in Oklahoma, from 2011 to present. Tom directs a team of reservoir engineers, landmen and geologists in building and maintaining an extensive database used to identify opportunities in the Midland and Delaware Basins.
Tom holds a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma.
Chelsea brings over 12 years of experience and leadership to PBEX, LLC as the V.P. of Human Resources. A native Midlander, Chelsea welcomed the opportunity to move back in 2010 after her career had taken her overseas. Once back in Midland, she joined PBEX, LLC in 2012. In 2018 Chelsea was awarded the Small Business HR Executive of the Year by the Permian Basin Society for Human Resource Management. Chelsea is a member of PBSHRM and is passionate about the non-profit community. She has served as a board member for The Museum of the Southwest, The Arts Council of Midland, and Midland Shared Spaces. Chelsea has provided training for The Nonprofit Management Center and The United Way of Midland on multiple HR topics. She is graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Advertising and Marketing and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional. Chelsea currently resides in Midland with her daughter.
Nick Roman has served as Chief Accounting Officer of PBEX Resources, LLC since November 2018. Prior to joining PBEX, Nick held similar positions with both private and publicly held companies operating in the upstream, midstream, and well servicing sectors of the oil & gas industry in multiple states. Nick also spent 15 years in public accounting in Houston and Midland, Texas serving both private and publicly held clients across various industries. Nick is experienced in raising capital through initial and secondary public offerings and private equity investments. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and holds a BBA in Accounting from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Nick holds a commercial pilot certificate and is actively involved in the aviation community, having served in the Civil Air Patrol and the Commemorative Air Force.
Wes co-founded SES Investments, Ltd., in 1980 with his wife Roni, an oil, gas, and real estate investment company. He has served as Chairman of PBEX, LLC since July 2012. He co-founded EGL Resources, Inc., in 1994. He co-founded Master Mineral Holdings, Inc. in 1994. He founded MT223, LLC in 2001 and serves as itsmanager. He has beena Genie Energy, Ltd. (GNE) Director since September 2009. He is also Chairman of Genie Energy International Corporation. He has been a Director of Viper Energy Partners, LP (VNOM) since 2014. He has served as a director of First Southern National Bank since 2016. He has previously served as a director for IDT and UTGN, both publicly traded companies.
Wes served on the Midland City Council from 2002 to 2008 and as the Mayor of Midland from January 2008 through January 2014. Wes holds a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He serves as a Trustee of the Abell Hangar Foundation and is VP of the Texas State Historical Association. He and his wife, Roni, co-founded the Milagros Foundation in 1996. They have three married children and eight grandchildren. He loves reading to Second Graders at South Elementary.
Chas Perry is the co-founding partner, CEO, and member of PBEX since 2012 to present. He is also co-founder and CEO of Master Mineral Holdings l, LP and Master Mineral Holdings II, LP, Master Mineral Holdings III, LP, a mineral acquisition company with a focus on the Appalachian Basin, since 2009 to present. He has also served as Founder and Managing Partner of Voyage Energy, an oil and gas investment company, since 2011 to present. He has worked in other various aspects of the oil and gas industry for 20 years. Chas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance from Texas Tech University. He has been apart of Teen Flow board since 2012 as well as trustee for Abell-Hanger Foundation as of 2024. He has served on other non profit boards throughout his career. He loves spending time with friends and family.
